CHRISTINA MARTIN MBA, MHA

President & Chief Experience Officer

Christina Martin is a subject matter expert in patient & family experience, employee & physician engagement, team cultural development, and customer service. She has coached and trained physicians, nurses and allied health providers across the healthcare continuum of care, including hospital and clinic settings.  She works with healthcare leaders on improving patient and family experience, focusing on patient-centered care and incorporating the methodologies of Lean Six Sigma into improvement strategies.

 Ms. Martin has done extensive work in team culture dynamics, working with inpatient, emergency department and ambulatory surgery teams on empathy, defining expectations and building leader and peer accountability into the team dynamics.  She helps teams incorporate patient-centered best-practices into their clinical delivery of care and helps them see how their behaviors and interactions directly impact their patients and families. One-on-one shadow coaching, observations within a department, leadership coaching, in-depth data analysis and dynamic training sessions are all tools she uses when working with teams and individuals. 

She brings over 29 years of leadership and management experience. Prior to her healthcare career she spent 19 years in the consumer packaged goods industry, working in sales & marketing with clients in all classes of trade in Food, Drug & Mass Merchandiser retailers.  Her healthcare career has been in operations, organizational learning and patient & family experience. 


She received her Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. 


Chris is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and a Net Promoter® Certified Associate.
